Save and View the Content of Print Jobs

Step 1. Install CZ Print Job Tracker on the print server that has the printer shared. See Option 2: CZ Print Job Tracker is installed on your Windows print server e.g. \\PrintServer. On Windows print server, uncheck "Render print jobs on client computers".
Step 2. In Preferences --> Print Jobs, select "Save the content of printed jobs for viewing".
Step 3. Send a print job to the shared printer \\printserver\printer from a workstation. Step 4. In CZ Print Job Tracker --> Printed Jobs, double click the print job to view the content.
Common Issues: 1. The content file can't be found 1.1 Check above steps. 1.2 Check if the spool file format is #####.spl where ##### is the number (for example 00002.spl) in the content directory e.g. C:\Program Files\CZ Solution\CZ Print Job Tracker\content\. If it shows FP#####, please follow the instructions below to turn off Spool File Pooling on the print server, then send a new print job to test. If you install CZ Print Job Tracker on Windows 2000, the spool file pooling is turned off by default. If you install CZ Print Job Tracker on Windows XP / Windows Vista / Windows 7 / Windows 8,
If you install CZ Print Job Tracker on Windows 2003 / Windows 2008 / Windows 2012,
2. The format of current printer driver is not supported A. Uncheck "Enable Advanced Printing"
B. If A doesn't work, check
C. If B doesn't work, try a different printer driver (e.g. Postscript printer driver or PCL printer driver), then repeat A and B. If you still can't see the content of the print job, please email the name of printer driver to support@czsolution.com .
