Finding printing solutions might seem like
a very big, very difficult deal. And by all means, it certainly is a big,

idea of how many jobs are going to each printer so that you know about when you
need to change ink cartridges and add more paper and take care of maintenance

Print log software enables
you to manage and log printing in your school, business, or library branch and optimize
it to save you the most time, effort, and money.
Print log software has a lot
to offer. For example, you would be able to set
print quotas for each
individual that is included under your system.
When you set a
print quota, you
allow each person a certain amount of pages they are permitted to print per each
day, week, etc. Pretty much however you set it up is how it goes. But, in case
they need to break their print quota, say for an important assignment
that requires maybe two or three, or even more, pages than they usually need,
all you would have to do is override and authorize the printing of those pages.
After you do that, their print quota remains the same. You don’t have to
change it—just authorize those few pages.
Then there is
print tracking, which
allows you to see where and when each paper was printed and who it was printed
by. This allows you to see who prints the most in any given day (if they keep
asking for a higher quota, this’ll help you to see if that’s a good decision or
not.), and which printer receives the most work of the majority. By knowing who
and what does the most printing, you also can estimate about when you’re going
to need to change your ink cartridges for each printer and add more paper, if
you remember how much paper that you put in the printer. You can do all of this
thanks to print
management software.
